Steve Finkbeiner, MD, PhD, FANA

Dr. Steve Finkbeiner has a BS in Chemistry from Wheaton College, concurrently earned an MD and PhD from Yale University, followed by Chief Residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and received a Neurology Research Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. His research on neurodegenerative diseases at the J. David Gladstone Institutes and UCSF has led to his invention of robotic microscopy, an automated high throughput single cell analysis platform that provides very sensitive measures of phenotypes. He has recently applied deep learning to the imaging data to make discoveries in datasets that are beyond conventional data analysis systems
