Stephen Crocker, PhD

Stephen Crocker received his Ph.D. (University of Ottawa) and then completed postdoctoral studies in neurodegeneration at the Neuroscience Research Institute (Ottawa Hospital Research Institute) and neuroimmunology at The Scripps Research Institute (La Jolla, CA). Dr. Crocker joined the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where he is presently Associate Professor (tenured) in the Departments of Neuroscience and Immunology, and Director of the Neuroscience Graduate Program. His current research program is studies aging in glial cells in CNS demyelinating diseases using human iPS, and murine modeling. His research has been funded by the NMSS, the National Institutes of Health.
