Sanjay P. Singh, MD is the  Chairman & Professor of the Department of Neurology at Creighton University School of Medicine. He is the Director of the Neurological Institute at CHI Health-Creighton University School of Medicine. He is the Director of the Level 4 CHI Health-Creighton University Epilepsy Center. He is the convener of the AUPN group of Neurology Chairs of America. He is the President of AINA(Association of Indian Neurologists in America). He is the Chief Academic Officer of CHI Health, USA. He is on the Board of Directors of CHI Health Clinic, a 1200 physician organization. He has been the Chief of Staff of Creighton University Medical Center, USA.

He was awarded the prestigious Mridha Spirit of Neurology Award by the American Academy of Neurology for 2021. He has also been the recipient the A.B. Baker Teacher recognition award by the American Academy of Neurology, The UNMC’s Chancellor's Gold U Award & Kudos award of the Board of Regents award for University of Nebraska. He was also awarded the ‘Hind Rattan Award’ for NRIs in New Delhi. He was given the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Global Healthcare Summit in Hyderabad. He has won many teaching awards in his career. He has been awarded the “Best Doctors of America” award continuously from 2011 to 2021.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Neurological Association. He has served as the Residency Program Director of the Creighton-Nebraska Joint Neurology Residency Program. He has also served as the Medical Student Clerkship Director at 2 U.S. medical schools.

Dr. Singh received his medical degree from M.L.N. Medical College in India, where he was first in order of merit in his class. He completed a neurology residency at George Washington University Medical Center, Washington, DC; he was the Chief Resident of Neurology in his PGY-4 year. He then did a two year fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology, as the Gilbert Glaser fellow, at Yale University School of Medicine. 

He is the author of the 'Locatelli & Singh's Handbook of Neurology'. He is the author of numerous articles and also many Book Chapters. His research includes Epilepsy, Stroke, cognitive neuroscience and a novel neuroprotection protein PRDX6 which prevents brain cells from dying, as happens in neurological disorders like Stroke, Epilepsy, Dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders. He has many peer reviewed publications. He has been invited to Lecture at many national and international institutions and conferences. He has also given talks to the community in TEDx, 'Science Cafes & Simply Science' programs.
