Samden D. Lhatoo, MD

Dr. Samden Lhatoo, MD, is an epileptologist and researcher at the University of Texas’ McGovern Medical School. He is a Distinguished University Professor, and the John and Kathrine McGovern Endowed Chair in Epilepsy. He trained in Neurology at the Universities of Bristol, Oxford and University College London, and completed clinical and research fellowships at Queen Square, London and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr Lhatoo is an epilepsy mortality researcher specializing in the harnessing of computer science and medical informatics technologies for large-scale research. He is contact Principal Investigator of the NIH funded Center for SUDEP Research.
