Dr. Minjee Kim is an Assistant Professor in Neurology in the Division of Neurocritical Care at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Her research focus has been the role of sleep and circadian rhythms in cognitive function in healthy adults as well as in patients with chronic medical conditions such as liver disease. She has established a prospective cohort of patients with liver cirrhosis who are being evaluated for liver transplant (Hepatic Encephalopathy Registry of patients with Cirrhosis Undergoing Liver transplant Evaluation Steps (HERCULES)) in 2016 and investigated the associations between sleep-wake rhythms and cognitive function.
