Dr. Asukile is a Zambian neurologist at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia. She completed her neurology residency at the University of Cape Town in South Africa in 2020. During the last few months of her residency and the COVID19 pandemic, she completed her training in Zambia as part of the new neurology training program. She has a special interest in epilepsy and neurology education and her master of medicine thesis evaluated the efficacy of an online learning tool for EEG teaching. 

Upon her return from South Africa, she worked as an attending neurologist in Lusaka and managed the EEG lab, and co-managed the EMG lab. Her recent research work has involved evaluating the acceptance and feasibility of using teleneurology in her setting and the electroclinical and radiological features of neurocysticercosis associated with epilepsy.

Since July 2022, she has been pursuing an epilepsy fellowship at the University of Cape Town funded by an education fellowship from the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology
