Kathleen Shannon, MD, FANA

Kathleen Shannon is a Movement Disorders Neurologist. She attended Northwestern University and Rush Medical College, then completed her training in Neurology with a fellowship in Movement Disorders at Rush University Medical Center.  She is presently Chair of the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison WI.  Her clinical interests include the broad spectrum of Movement Disorders with special interest in Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. She has a long history of clinical trials research as well as an interest in the potential role of gut-derived sterile inflammation in the genesis of Parkinson’s disease.
