Jeffrey Gelfand, MD, MAS, FAAN

Dr. Gelfand is an Associate Professor of Neurology at UCSF who specializes in caring for patients with neuroinflammatory disorders. Dr. Gelfand conducts clinical research and is an award-winning medical educator. Dr. Gelfand received an A.B. in history from Princeton University, and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He completed internship in internal medicine, residency in neurology, and subspecialty fellowship training in MS/neuroimmunology, and received a Masters in Advanced Study degree in clinical research from UCSF. He serves as Assistant Medical Director of the UCSF MS / Neuroinflammation Clinic and directs the MS / Neuroimmunology Fellowship Program.
