James D. Berry, MD, MPH
Massachusetts General Hospital
I am the Chief of the Division of ALS and Motor Neuron Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital and Director of the MGH Neurological Clinical Research Institute. We have a large multidisciplinary ALS Clinic, and a busy ALS trial center. I also lead observational studies in ALS, characterizing people with ALS using traditional clinical measures, and exploring digital outcome measures. I oversee a large ALS biorepository of plasma, serum, RNA, DNA, PBMC, skin biopsies/fibroblasts, CSF, and tissue and accompanying phenotypic data, and I collaborate with researchers around the globe using these biofluids to identify novel biomarkers to help understand ALS.
