Imama A. Naqvi, MD

Imama A. Naqvi is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Columbia University. Dr. Naqvi obtained her medical degree with honors from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed Neurology residency at the Henry Ford Hospital followed by a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Naqvi’s research focuses on secondary stroke prevention strategies, health disparities, and innovative care delivery models for post-acute stroke. She is currently funded as a KL2 Scholar and enrolled in Master of Science, studying biomedical informatics and multidisciplinary team-based approaches to mitigate inequities in health care access among diverse stroke populations.
