Ghayda "Rayda" Mirzaa, MD

Dr. Ghayda Mirzaa is a geneticist and researcher with board certifications in pediatrics, medical genetics, and molecular genetics. Dr. Ghayda Mirzaa graduated from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain and then pursued pediatric residency training at the University of Illinois in Chicago followed by fellowships in clinical genetics and molecular genetics at the University of Chicago and the University of Washington. Her research focuses on many aspects of human developmental disorders including understanding the causes, mechanisms and outcomes of these disorders, and associated co-morbidities including autism, epilepsy and intellectual disability.
