Amy Goldstein, MD

Dr. Amy Goldstein is a child neurologist with subspecialty expertise in primary mitochondrial disorders. She has been the Clinical Director of the Mitochondrial Medicine Frontier Program since July 2017. Under her leadership, the program has expanded the clinical service to include inpatient consultations, and has quadrupled the outpatient patient volume. She is actively involved in clinical diagnosis, management, natural history studies and clinical trials for new therapies. In addition, she is involved in several clinical research projects. She has worked on standardization of care through the Mitochondrial Medicine Society, with patient support groups, and is dedicated to medical education.
